Moving Made Easy awarded accreditation by NHQB
Moving Made Easy to be awarded accreditation by NHQB.
Moving Made Easy are delighted to have been awarded the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB) accreditation for our part-exchange and assisted move services for housebuilders.
The NHQB launched the code to bring a clear and transparent framework to the industry, and aims to lead reforms in the build quality and customer service within the new homes sector. The independent not-for-profit board has developed a four-part code that includes guiding principles and practical steps for developers to implement when selling new homes.
'We are pleased to see that part-exchange and assisted move services are integral to the Code, as covered in section 1.4. Having offered a robust, effective, and market-leading service that has stood the test over many years, we are now delighted that we have received accreditation from the NHQB,' comments Mark Kay, managing director, property services at Simplify.
Leon Livermore, Chief Executive Officer at NHQB, stated, 'We are thrilled to have both Move with Us and Moving Made Easy be our first accredited suppliers of part-exchange and assisted move services. This award represents the highest quality of service and marks a significant step in bringing higher standards to developers and their customers.'
Jessica Moreau, national sales director for Moving Made Easy, appealed for developers to look closely at section 1.4 of the Code to ensure they offer a compliant level of service.
'With the uncertainty around the housing market and the introduction of the new code, there has never been a better time to utilise us for your part-exchange and assisted sale schemes. In a market where valuation accuracy is paramount, along with managing customers' expectations and providing them with an independent and fair valuation, we offer the best solution as one of the NHQB-accredited suppliers.'
'Our independent market appraisals meet the requirements of the New Homes Quality Code; giving you and your team the confidence to make part-exchange offers and secure the sale of plots on an assisted move basis, against an accurate valuation. We pride ourselves on our successful trading position against our target price. We take compliance exceptionally seriously and have reviewed and updated our policies, where necessary, in line with the fundamental principles of the Code. These include but are not limited to; Treating Customers Fairly, supporting vulnerable customers and having robust complaints procedures for customers.'
